Semi Permanent Make Up/ Microblading

There are many different types of permanent make up (SPMU) on the market today and its hard to know what to go for. We offer eyebrow treatments that include microblading, powder brow and combi brows.

For SPMU a consultation and patch test is required at least 48 before procedure in which you can discuss which treatment is best for you. Unfortunately its not as easy as to just picking what you like the look of best as different components will effect the outcome including skin type, medication and age. During consultation your SPMU specialist will discuss this and what kind of shape and look you require and you can make a mutual decision as to the best option for you.

Microblading - Microblading is a form of tattooing for the eyebrows in which pigment is implanted into the skin using a hand held tool. It is done with individual strokes to mimic real hair and give a realistic look. All treatments are customised.

Microblading normally lasts up to 2 years and a colour boost is recommended every 12-18 months to keep the brows looking sharp. This can vary from client to client depending on skin type.

Powder Brow - This treatment is done with a machine and creates shading similar to the look of eyebrow powder. This is created by building up layers of colour to create the desired look. Powder brow can be done to create a soft shading effect or a bolder brow depending on requirement. This technique can also be done to create ombre brows in which the bulb of brow is a softer gradient to create a softer look.

Powder brows normally last up to 3 years and a colour boost is recommended every 12-24 months dependant on skin type and colour density.

Combi Brows - Combination brows are a mixture of microblading and machine brows. This means the front of the brows are created with microblading strokes and the tails are shaded using machine. As all eyebrow treatments are customised this means you can also have microblading strokes on the entire upper brow with shading blended in underneath depending on what kind of look you want to go for.

Combi brows normally last up to 2 years and a colour boost is recommended every 12-18 months.

Overview - All PMU treatments require a patch test and consultation at least 48 hours before treatment.

Treatment - During treatment your brows are precisely measured and the outline of your new brows are drawn in pencil. Once you and your artist are happy your treatment will begin. Please allow 2.5 - 3 hours for your procedure. You will then require a top up after 6 - 8 weeks (included in price). In this treatment any pigment that has not stayed in the skin will be reapplied and any changes required will be made.

Fully healed brows - Once your brows have healed after your top up you will have lovely waterproof, sweatproof and smudge proof brows. Enjoy swimming, exercise and hot weather without the worry of your eyebrows running, No more make up!! Woo!
